Liquefied gas prices increase for september

The General Directorate of Energy of Hydrocarbons and Mines presents the prices of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) for the month of september.

 

 

The prices with general subsidy are: for the 35 pound gas drum will cost US$15.50 while in august it cost US$15.06, an increase of US$0.44 is observed, the 25 pound cylinder will cost US$11.13 while in august it cost US$10.82, the 20 pound cylinder will cost US$8.98 while in august it cost US$8.73 and the 10 pound drum will cost US$4.61.

It should be noted that the State continues to subsidize salvadoran families, in this case the prices with targeted subsidy are for the 35 pound cylinder US$7.46 while in august it cost US$7.02, the 25 pound cylinder will cost US$3.09 and in august it cost US$2.78 which has had an increase of US$1.13.

The gas increase is due to the increase in international oil costs. The member countries of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) have reduced their crude oil production in recent months and are expected to maintain this cut until october.
