The Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA) reports more than 13 thousand commercial passenger flights at the Aeropuerto Internacional de El Salvador during the period from january 1 to april 14, 2024, this represents an increase of 23% compared to 2023.

With this, more than 1.5 million arriving, departing, and connecting passengers have been handled at Aeropuerto Internacional de El Salvador, representing an increase of 36% compared to last year.

The entity also previously indicated that the year 2023 ended with a movement of 4.5 million travelers at the airport. Furthermore, this number is anticipated to remain the same or even increase this year, based on data collected in the first four months of 2024.

The Aeropuerto Internacional de El Salvador is served by 14 international airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Aeromexico Connect, Air Transat, Arajet, Spirit Airlines, Frontier, Copa Airlines, Iberia, Tropic Air Belize, TAG Airlines, Volaris, and Avianca El Salvador, the local airline.
