The Consejo Nacional para la Inclusión de las Personas Con Discapacidad CONAIPD, awarded the recognition "Private Companies" to Walmart El Salvador for the actions that the company carries out in favor of the rights of persons with disabilities.

The Ministry of Labor is holding today job placement days for people with disabilities in the 14 departmental offices throughout the country and have opened their doors from 7:00 a.m. and closing until 5:00 p.m.

The Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro said in a press conference that he has found state institutions such as the Asamblea Legislativa, la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), Corte Suprema de Justicia (CSJ), Procuraduría General de la República y la Procuraduría para la Defensa de los Derechos Humanos (PDDH) that are not complying with the hiring of people with disabilities.
