Following this line, Antonio Campos, a salvadoran resident in New York for 36 years, has decided to invest US$1.5 million in the Sunset View tourism project in San Miguel, providing employment to more than 20 people from the region.
According to Invest in El Salvador, more than 75 projects have been completed in the last four years, with an investment of more than US$167 million, generating hundreds of local jobs.
The Sunset View resort, built on a 28,000 square meter site, will offer a modern and minimalist approach, with a glass observation deck, a swimming pool, cabanas, children's playgrounds, all-terrain vehicles to explore the facilities, and a fish breeding pond.
Salvador Gómez Góchez, president of Invest in El Salvador, points out that investments by salvadorans abroad are increasing in the country, thanks to the security climate, investment incentives and the benefits generated, such as the recent reform to the Income Tax Law.
