A total of 200 micro and small businesses received the Mype 360 digital packages this Tuesday, an initiative promoted by the Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE)that seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of these businesses through technological tools, training, and digital solutions.
CONAMYPE president Paul Steiner explained that companies previously benefiting from this program have registered average sales increases of up to 40%, thanks to the use of the tools and the technical support received.
He detailed that the initial goal was to support 150 companies, but this was exceeded, and with the deliveries made during 2026, a total of 350 micro and small businesses will benefit from the Mype 360 digital packages.

The technology packages include a tablet with a keyboard and mouse, a POS device for card payments, electronic invoicing software, and a portable battery, in addition to new digital solutions to strengthen business management.
Among the tools included is Contamype, an accounting system that allows users to register sales and purchases from their cell phones, create catalogs, and generate financial reports to improve business management. Free electronic invoicing software is also provided for the first year with no limit on the number of invoices.
The program includes training in areas such as digital sales, using WhatsApp Business, creating online catalogs, digital marketing, metrics analysis, and applying artificial intelligence to optimize processes.

The initiative primarily benefits micro and small businesses in the tourism sector and is being developed with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador, the Agencia de Cooperación Internacional de Corea (KOICA), Agencia de El Salvador para la Cooperación Internacional (ESCO) and Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo.
The Minister of Tourism, Morena Valdez, emphasized that digitalization is key for the tourism sector, where 85% of businesses are micro and small enterprises (MSEs), as it allows for improvements in processes such as electronic payments, digital reservations, and social media promotion.
With this initiative, authorities aim to encourage more businesses to adopt technology, increase their productivity, and have greater opportunities for growth in national and international markets.
