Tourism promotion in El Salvador not only includes the promotion of the country at international level, but also at local level, to boost domestic tourism.

In that way, the Instituto Salvadoreño de Turismo ISTU has scheduled for this sunday, as part of the Buses Alegres program, a visit to the 8th Crab Festival, in the district of Tecoluca, municipality of San Vicente Sur.

This is the eighth edition of the Crab Festival, in which visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes derived from this crustacean, as well as live music and other recreational and leisure activities.

"Every sunday we have our Buses Alegres program, which leave from the Hula Hula Market (district of San Salvador) starting at 6:30 a.m.", recalled the head of the ISTU.

The official highlighted the increase that has been registered in domestic tourism under the administration of the current government, which is reflected in the increase of visitors to the 15 recreational parks managed by the institution she directs.
