Kodigo, a creative technology academy in El Salvador specializing in artificial intelligence, data, and software development, presents “UNLOCK OPPORTUNITIES with AI by Kodigo 2.0”. This annual initiative aims to accelerate the practical adoption of artificial intelligence and prepare talent for the demands of an evolving labor market. New offerings include the “Lesson Lab” tool, “KodiTutor”, and a series of bootcamps designed for professionals.
The launch event brought together guests from the business, technology, and education sectors to explore the evolution of Kodigo’s offerings and new ways to integrate artificial intelligence into both learning and professional work. The agenda featured a panel titled “AI Talent for El Salvador: How Do We Accelerate?”, which included representatives from ANEP, INCAF, ANIA, and the private sector.
This year’s launch marks a shift in focus: moving beyond simply learning how to use AI tools toward developing the skills necessary to work with them, integrate them into real-world processes, and capitalize on the opportunities they create for individuals and organizations.
“Artificial intelligence is opening up new opportunities for individuals, companies, and nations. The challenge lies in preparing talent to harness this transformation and turn technology into a tool that generates real value. At Kodigo, we believe El Salvador has the potential to develop the capabilities needed to compete in this new economy. We want more people to be well-prepared, which is why our core purpose remains the same: to build, together, toward an abundance of opportunities”, said Fernando Kriete, founder and CEO of Kodigo.
Over 1,780 individuals in artificial intelligence programs

As of october 2026, more than 1,780 people have participated in Kodigo’s specialized programs in this field, spanning 70 cohorts and 14 distinct programs. Kodigo’s mission is to train more than 10,000 people in artificial intelligence by 2030, with an approach focused on bringing these capabilities to more professionals and companies and facilitating their application in the workplace. The launch of Unlock 2.0 aims to accelerate that journey.
The goal addresses a growing challenge: as AI technologies evolve rapidly, individuals and organizations must develop new skills to effectively incorporate them into their activities.
Speed in responding to technological evolution
“Last year, we talked about learning with AI. This year, we are taking the next step: working with AI. Technology advances exponentially, yet the way we learn remains linear and in that gap, opportunities are lost. The question is no longer whether we know how to use AI, but rather what we can achieve with it”, said Ricardo Chávez, executive director of Kodigo.
In an environment where new artificial intelligence tools and applications are constantly emerging, the speed at which learning content and experiences are developed becomes a crucial factor in keeping training aligned with market needs. One of Kodigo’s key differentiators is its ability to transform emerging market demands into new training experiences.

Through “Lesson Lab” its new development process powered by artificial intelligence Kodigo can create fully validated training programs in just 48 hours; a process that might take up to six months under traditional educational development models.
Additionally, Kodigo has created “KodiTutor”, an AI-driven tutor that enhances the learning process for its students by personalizing the educational experience to meet everyone’s specific needs available 24/7.
Kodigo’s approach goes beyond simply adding artificial intelligence as extra content; it involves integrating AI into the very way people learn, work, and develop new capabilities.
