El Salvador marked a new milestone in its technology internationalization strategy by participating for the first time in the Web Summit 2025, held may 27-30 in Vancouver, Canada. This world-class event brought together more than 15,000 key players in the digital ecosystem, including companies, investors, and specialized media, offering an ideal platform to position the country’s technological and innovative capabilities.

With the support of the Embassy of El Salvador in Canada, four national companies represented the country, exhibiting advanced solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital marketing, data storage, e-commerce and strategic planning. Their participation allowed them to present their products and services to a global audience, arousing the interest of potential partners and investors.
During the event, salvadoran representatives also participated in high-level conferences and forums, where they discussed the latest trends and challenges in the technology sector, which provided value to strengthen their business skills and expand their network of international contacts.

The Ambassador of El Salvador in Canada, Ricardo Cisneros, highlighted the importance of this participation as a key step to insert the country in the most competitive technology markets in the world. “We aim to consolidate ourselves as a destination for innovation, aligned with global trends and in constant evolution”, he said.
El Salvador’s participation in the Web Summit 2025 was coordinated together with the Ministry of Economy and the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (INVEST), reaffirming the institutional commitment to position the country as a regional technology hub.
