The monthly household income of Salvadoran households registered a significant increase in 2025, reflecting an improvement in the economic situation of families, according to the results of the Encuesta de Hogares de Propósitos Múltiples (EHPM) 2025 published by the Banco Central de Reserva de El Salvador.
According to the 2025 EHPM, total monthly household income reached US$1,560.6 million in 2025, representing an increase of US$129.9 million compared to the US$1,430.7 million recorded in 2024. This increase reflects a 9.1% growth in the monthly household income of salvadoran households.

The survey also shows that the average monthly household income increased from US$713.20 in 2024 to US$763.81 in 2025, representing a 7.1% increase. This rise indicates that more families have sufficient resources to cover their basic needs.

The results of the 2025 Household Household Survey (EHPM) reflect that a greater number of families have more resources, allowing them to meet basic needs and improve their quality of life. This trend demonstrates a consolidation of economic stability in salvadoran households.
The increase in family and monthly income also translates into higher per capita income, benefiting each family member and contributing to greater individual and family well-being. This indicates that the public policies and programs implemented by the Government, aimed at increasing income and improving quality of life, are having a positive impact on household finances.

Taken together, these data paint an encouraging picture for salvadoran households, demonstrating that the economic and social strategies implemented contribute to strengthening the family economy and the well-being of the population.
