The german company ZF Lifetec has already begun producing airbags for vehicles in El Salvador, a project that generates hundreds of specialized jobs and could continue to grow with new investments in the country.
The announcement was made by the president of Invest in El Salvador, Rodrigo Ayala, who reported that the company is already evaluating further expansions and the addition of more production lines as part of its growth strategy.
The establishment of ZF Lifetec strengthens the salvadoran manufacturing industry and represents a boost for the creation of skilled jobs, especially in technical areas related to the automotive sector.
If the expansion of operations materializes, the company would increase its production capacity and open new job opportunities, consolidating its presence in the country.
Ayala emphasized that this progress reflects the confidence of foreign investment in El Salvador and the country’s potential to attract high value-added industrial projects.
The arrival and expansion of international companies like ZF Lifetec is part of the efforts to strengthen the country’s competitiveness, diversify productive activity, and generate more specialized jobs for salvadorans.
