For over a century and a half, the Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia (LOTRA) has evolved to meet the needs of the country, maintaining its vision of providing responsible entertainment and transforming the resources generated by its products into charitable programs that positively impact the lives of the population.
Through its Juntos Hacemos Beneficencia, program, launched under the vision of President Nayib Bukele’s administration, the institution has strengthened its social work through medical brigades that travel throughout the country, providing general consultations, dental care, mammograms, medications, and preventive exams that contribute to the well-being and health of salvadorans.

LOTRA’s history is also marked by significant contributions to the country’s development, supporting initiatives in favor of national sports, early childhood development, and various social causes that reflect its charitable philosophy.
In recent years, the institution has achieved significant milestones that position it as a benchmark among state lotteries in Latin America. These include its presidency of the Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas de Estado (CIBELAE) for a third consecutive term and the attainment of Level 2 Responsible Gaming certification from the World Lottery Association (WLA), a recognition that reflects its commitment to international best practices.
