At a conference held by the Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF), Superintendent Evelyn Gracias announced that as of june 6th, balances will be reimbursed to members of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Santa Victoria de R.L. (COSAVI) whose total balances total US$5,000 or less.

It was also noted that this reimbursement is part of the fifth “layer” of reimbursement of funds corresponding to clients registered with COSAVI, until may 10 of this year.

The superintendent emphasized that this reimbursement will be made only at the COSAVI branch on Gabriela Mistral Street, and called on those who have debts with the cooperative to continue to comply with the payment, which continues to be enforceable.

It should be noted that for term deposits the refund will be activated when they reach their maturity date, since the money was placed in credits, for this the superintendent Evelyn Gracias pointed out that they should continue to wait.
