This new edition of the SURA SUMMIT will feature Professor Yuval Noah Harari, renowned historian, philosopher, writer and author of the books "Sapiens" "Homo Deus" and "21 lessons for the 21st century", where he will talk about the challenges facing Latin America with his lecture entitled: "What future are we creating? How every decision you make in life has an impact on the future and can be part of the change we need".

The meeting will be moderated by Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, considered one of the most brilliant spanish politicians, journalists and intellectuals of her generation. Álvarez has stood out for her vibrant defense of liberal democracy in the face of different issues such as populism, nationalism, separatism and identity politics. She has also had relevant engagements with heads of state on global issues.

Yuval Noah Harari

Harari is a renowned historian, philosopher, writer and author of the international bestsellers "Sapiens", "Homo Deus" and "21 Lessons for the 21st Century". Considered one of today's most influential public intellectuals, Doctor of Oxford University.

In 2009 and 2012 he received the Polonsky Award for creativity and originality to his lectures. 2021 Sapiens #2 New York Times best seller, book read and recommended by Barack Obama and Bill Gates.

He has had relevant participations with heads of state about global issues and with personalities such as Daniel Kahneman (author of Thinking fast and slow, Nobel Prize in economics), Natalie Portman (actress, director, producer) and Mark Zuckerberg (founder and president of Facebook).

He has also given talks for companies such as Google, The New York Times, Softys and Bayer.
