Through their social networks they indicated that there were 60.198 GWh more than the goal they had projected for the month of july of this year. The projected generation was 122,518 GWh and 182,716 GWh were generated.

"The efficient management of the resource and timely maintenance have allowed us to exceed the projections of electricity generation by 149%, registering 182,716 GWh in the 4 hydroelectric power plants", indicates the CEL's tweet.

The authorities of the Comisión Hidroeléctrica point out that during this year such a high increase had not been recorded and indicate that these figures are thanks to the good management of water resources, preventive and corrective maintenance, in addition to the purchase of new technology to operate efficiently the 4 hydroelectric power plants: Guajoyo, Cerrón Grande, 15 de Septiembre and 5 de Noviembre.

"These efforts have allowed us to continue increasing our hydroelectric generation. The data registered last july, have been the highest so far this year, surpassing the 138.41 GWh we reached during march", concludes the CEL's tweet.
