Through a cocktail held by the Honduran institution, companies, tour operators, airlines, ambassadors, representatives of embassies and media were brought together to present the tourism offer, natural and cultural riches that promote the growth of the country.
Also present during the event were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Honduras in El Salvador, Taiff Sandoval; TAG Airlines Sales Manager, Mario Durán; IHT Marketing Manager, Stephany Mena.
"On behalf of the Government of Honduras, we thank the diplomatic corps, the tour operators, the press, international organizations, we also welcome you to our country and we reiterate that Honduras belongs to you salvadorans", said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Honduras in El Salvador, Taiff Sandoval.
This country which is the heart of Central America is visited by tourists from all over the world for several reasons, among them: its forests, islands and beaches by cruise ships, airplanes or by road, being its main engines the ecological, cultural and archaeological tourism.
The top tourist attractions in Honduras are: Parque Nacional Punta Sal, Playa West Bay, La Ceiba, Parque Pico Bonito, Ruinas de Copán, Cayos Cochinos, Lago de yojoa, Cataratas de Pulhapanzak, Cuevas de Talgua and Parque Nacional La Tigra.
"We want this event to be the beginning of many more events that we can do together, we are very happy to bring you a little bit of all the wonders that we have as a country", said IHT Marketing manager Stephany Mena.
Honduras' geographical position allows it to be a tourist destination of interest to people from all over the world. It has paradisiacal beaches, is part of the largest coral reef in the Americas, and is considered one of the best places for scuba diving in the world.
