With these certifications, 16 companies and independent consultants have benefited through the qualification of human resources to comply with quality standards, as well as the proper functioning in the production of industries.
Through coordinated work with the government, unions, universities, companies, foundations and international organizations, among other entities, Insaforp has certified workers in companies and self-employed workers for labor competencies.
The certifications delivered today are part of a model coordinated with the Ministry of Economy, where the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (CAMARASAL) and the Universidad Salvadoreña Alberto Masferrer (USAM) have played the role of evaluators.
To date, as the leading institution for professional training in the country, Insaforp has certified more than 17,000 people with an investment of more than US$4,700,000, in projects developed with entities such as the International Training Center of the ILO, AEROMAN, among others. Since the creation of Insaforp, cooperative relationships have been established with various entities to implement competency-based certification models, as in the case of the plastics industry, the construction sector, the energy sector and others.
Also, being inclusion a central axis in the work of the institution, it has certified both women and men, returned migrants and visually impaired people. By means of the training provided through a professional training system made up of more than 300 institutions and seven thousand people, human resources are strengthened to be at the forefront of the development of the different industries.
