The objective is according to the official is to strengthen the Labor Migration Program, in order to open to more compatriots, job opportunities in Canada, all through the legal and safe way and not having to risk losing their lives in a river or desert in search of nonexistent dreams.
"We will work hard so that one day our compatriots will have job opportunities in our country and if they decide to work outside our borders, it will be through these programs", Castro wrote on his Twitter account.
The Regular, Orderly and Safe Labor Mobility program is a coordination mechanism for the management of work opportunities outside the salvadoran borders, on a temporary basis and with protection of the rights of national workers.
Among the actions carried out by the institutions in charge of this program are:
- Identification of allied companies abroad
- Calling the salvadoran population to submit applications
- Facilitating the recruitment and selection of candidates
- Monitoring and accompaniment of temporary workers at the destination.
