Residents of San Salvador can update the payment of their municipal taxes and benefit from the "Ordinance of Temporary Waiver of Delinquent Interest on Fees and Special Contributions Applied to Real Estate Property", which the Mayor's Office of San Salvador will keep in force until april 30.

This benefit, granted by the Mayor's Office of San Salvador, applies to taxpayers who own a property, whether house or apartment, and receive services from the capital city such as sanitation, electric lighting, final disposal, as well as special contributions that were generated until march 31, 2024. The charges for these services are regularly reflected in the electric power bill.
