According to the report of the Asociación Bancaria Salvadoreña (ABANSA), equity reached US$2,448.3 million in april 2024 and increased by US$45.1 million equivalent to 1.9% more compared to the same month in the previous year.

Among the largest equity balances, Banco Agrícola is ranked first with US$573.3 million, second is Banco Cuscatlan with US$435.2 million, third is Davivienda with US$356.2 million, fourth is BAC Credomatic with a balance of US$338 million, and fifth is Banco Hipotecario with a total amount of US$195.5 million.

In the last 3 positions are banks such as: Fomento Agropecuario with US$67.5 million, followed by Citibank N.A. with US$40.9 million and Abank with an amount of US$33.3 million. The sum of the total equity among the different banks is US$2,403.2 million in april 2023, with an increase for april 2024 with the amount of US$2,448.3 million.

The profits show that in the period from april 2023 to april 2024 has decreased from US$109.6 million to US$107.1 million, likewise, Banco Agrícola had an amount in profits of US$42.9 million, followed by Cuscatlan with US$19.1 million and Davivienda with US$12.8 million.

The financial indicators show that in the after-tax period the average net worth had a downward trend from 14% to 13.1%.
