This was explained by the oil market expert, Julio Villagrán, who points out that international oil prices continue to grow and the values of a barrel of oil are approaching US$75, which brings as a consequence new increases in fuel prices for the country.

He also pointed out that in the case of gasoline prices have surpassed US$0.90 ctvo. Unlike how the year started, in the case of diesel increases US$0.70 more than how it started in 2021.

"More fuel price increases are expected for the rest of the year in El Salvador",said Julio Villagrán, oil market expert.

Likewise, through a publication, he added that in relation to the commercialization of fuels the state receives US$400 million annually in taxes.

For drivers it is recommended to optimize the use of their vehicles, look for the nearest gas station of their convenience, in view of the upcoming increases in fuel prices.
