The Dirección General de Energía, Hidrocarburos y Minas (DGEHM) informed of the retail prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders in its different presentations for the month of february, which will remain unchanged.  

The Ministry of Finance is calling the Salvadoran population that has the benefit of the liquefied gas subsidy that now the Centro de Atención y Administración de Subsidios (CENADE) will become the Dirección General de Subsidios (DGS).

Deputies of the Economy Committee issued a favorable opinion for the creation of the Special and Transitory Law for the Stabilization of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Prices, with the purpose of stabilizing the price of LPG for domestic consumption, which will allow to alleviate the pocket of salvadoran households.

The Defensoría del Consumidor, Ricardo Salazar, along with his team, went to the department of Santa Ana, to carry out an inspection of egg prices and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). In addition, they verify the supply of the product.

The Legislative Assembly voted in favor of extending the period of validity of the Transitory Law for the Stabilization of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Prices used by households and small businesses for their daily activities.
