The Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (Camarasal), in alliance with Mertz Peru, organized the conference “Technology Watch: The key to innovate and be competitive”, with the purpose of strengthening the knowledge and capacities of the salvadoran productive sector.

The event was attended by the first vice-president of Camarasal, Carlos Chávez, and the peruvian ambassador to El Salvador, Jorge Antonio Rosado La Torre. During his speech, Chavez stressed the importance of providing entrepreneurs with strategic tools to anticipate and adapt to changes in the business environment.
The main conference was given by Stephany Soto, an expert in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer management, who explained how technology watch allows companies to innovate and remain competitive in the market.

Rodrigo Benítez, associate of García & Bodán El Salvador, gave a presentation entitled “Patents: A legal approach to boost innovation”, in which he detailed the process of patent registration in the country and presented success stories.
The meeting brought together entrepreneurs, representatives of the academic sector and authorities, who had the opportunity to interact and establish strategic contacts, thus promoting the exchange of knowledge and business opportunities.

Through this type of initiatives, Camarasal reaffirms its commitment to bring key tools to salvadoran entrepreneurs, promoting innovation and business development in the country.
