According to the Ministry of Labor, thursday august 3rd and saturday august 5th are established as holidays indicated in Article 190 of the Labor Code, for the city of San Salvador; and in the rest of the Republic, the main day of the most important holiday of the place.

The Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF), emphasizes that it is at the option of the Banks, as well as the Cooperative Banks and Savings and Credit Societies, to close on friday august 4th for the august holidays 2023.

Banco Cuscatlan and Bancoagrícola explained through their social networks that due to the august holidays, agencies, mini banks and autobanks in the metropolitan area will be closed from 12:00 noon. For the rest of the country will be friday 04 days and saturday 05 august.

Bac Credomatic will have special hours in branches and metropolitan service centers including Santa Elena, Multiplaza and Chiltuipan will be open until 12:00 noon on thursday august 3rd and friday august 4th and saturday august 5th will remain closed. The rest of agencies will attend normal schedule.

The Banco de Fomento Agropecuario (BFA), will close its service centers in Agencia San Salvador and Agencia Merliot from thursday 03 to saturday 05 of this month.

All the mentioned agencies of the banking system will return to normal activities on monday august 07, 2023.
