The candidates are Joel Sánchez Maldonado who will run for the presidential seat and his running mate is Hilcia Bonilla who will seek the vice presidency in the elections of february 2024.
"We need an El Salvador of progress, we need an El Salvador where peace exists, but above all love among us salvadorans", said Maldonado after the delivery of the official documents.
The presidential candidate also highlighted the importance of having a transparent government in the country, in addition to the fact that the State must help citizens when the prices of the basic food basket rise. Candidate Maldonado also stated that his proposals will soon begin to be shared throughout the country.
The ARENA party thus becomes the second political entity to make its formal presentation before the electoral authorities, so now they are waiting for the confirmation of the TSE on the validity of their candidacy.
