Today, the conference “Modernizing the Formalization of MSMEs: Achievements of Interinstitutional Collaboration” was held, where various institutions presented progress aimed at strengthening the economic environment for micro and small enterprises (MSMEs), a key sector for national productivity and growth.

During the event, four strategic initiatives were announced that seek to reduce operating costs, streamline procedures, and improve the competitiveness of small businesses:
New Small Business Regulations (SRS): This will simplify requirements and improve tax compliance processes for low-volume economic units.
Update to SIMEJORA (OMR): This modernizes the regulatory improvement system, streamlining procedures and reducing processing times for entrepreneurs and MSMEs.
Relanzamiento del régimen de Sociedades por Acciones Simplificadas (SAS) (CNR): This offers a faster and more accessible way to establish businesses, boosting formalization and investment.
The “Road to Formalization” Diploma Program (CONAMYPE): will strengthen entrepreneurial skills, promoting more sustainable business models.

These measures aim to revitalize the economy by facilitating the formalization process, expanding access to productive services, and reducing the administrative burden for thousands of entrepreneurs. This fosters business creation, job generation, and strengthens the country’s economic fabric.
