The Vice President of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa, met with the salvadoran Ambassador to Colombia, Germán Banacek, and representatives of the company Cuau y Asociados, who expressed their interest in positioning the country as a strategic hub for the development of their commercial and sports operations in the region.
During the meeting, the company’s owners, Luis Cuau and Anette Cuau, presented the progress of their presence in El Salvador, highlighting the company’s establishment with the goal of making El Salvador a regional distribution center for Central America.
They also announced their investment plans in the sports sector, following the acquisition of the Independiente San Vicente team, which plays in the second division of salvadoran soccer. According to them, the project includes a significant investment aimed at strengthening the institution.
The business leaders indicated that their vision extends beyond the team’s competitive development, as they plan to create soccer schools and establish agreements with universities so that young athletes can continue their academic studies while developing their sports careers.
The initiative seeks to promote a comprehensive model that combines athletic growth with the professional preparation of athletes.

Furthermore, Cuau y Asociados expressed its interest in promoting international opportunities for salvadoran soccer players, facilitating access to leagues in Mexico, the United States, Colombia, and Ecuador—countries where the company maintains sporting ties and a presence in second and third division teams.
According to what was discussed during the meeting, these actions could contribute to strengthening national talent and expanding development opportunities for young people involved in soccer.
The meeting was the result of efforts promoted by the salvadoran diplomatic mission in Colombia, within the framework of initiatives aimed at promoting investment, generating strategic alliances, and opening new development opportunities for the country.
