This specialized space will be available to the entire population, who will have access to information and documentation on supervision, banking supervision and related topics. This will contribute to the consolidation of a financial culture and education for all salvadorans.

Present at the inauguration of this space were the Superintendent of the Financial System, Evelyn Marisol Gracias; the Vice Minister of Culture, Eric Doradea; and the Secretary of Commerce and Investments, Miguel Kattán.

"It is an honor to open the doors of this space full of knowledge for the student population, researchers, professionals and the general public who need or have interest in the more than 2,000 titles available; in addition to a collection of books in digital format that will be provided through the online catalog”, said the superintendent.

This library comes to life in a dedicated area inside the institution's building, located in the district of Antiguo Cuscatlán, in East La Libertad. Its renovation includes the hiring of trained staff and the programming of a series of activities that will be made available to the public throughout the year.

The space specializes in financial topics, economics, and business administration. It has a room with 60 study spaces with computers so that users can do their research and consultations in an effective way, it has several collections of different areas and topics. It also has a space for temporary art exhibitions, which was inaugurated with an exhibition of paintings by salvadoran artist Fernando Llort.

"For the superintendency's team, the inauguration of this library is an important achievement and a reflection of our continued commitment to excellence and transparency in financial supervision, recognizing the importance of fostering an environment where knowledge and information are accessible to all actors in the financial sector", said the superintendent.
