TagAirlines announced its participation in the Madrid International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR 2024), to be held from january 24 to 28 in the Spanish capital, with the aim of strengthening air connectivity, strengthening alliances with strategic partners and consolidating its role as the airline of the Mayan World.

FITUR is the leading global forum and meeting point for tourism professionals, offering a unique window of opportunity for business development in the travel and tourism industry.

Marcela Toriello, President and CEO of TagAirlines, will hold working meetings with tourism authorities from various countries, tour operators, outbound wholesalers, strategic business partners and representatives of international airlines.

She will also have meetings with tourism authorities from Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Yucatan, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo (INGUAT), Organización del Mundo Maya and with the ministers of Tourism of Honduras, Belize and Mexico, among other industry representatives.

Toriello said TagAirlines is committed to strengthening air connectivity between the main tourist destinations of Mundo Maya, by offering a unique multi-destination option in the region. She said that the cultural, natural, archaeological and gastronomic attractions of the Maya World enjoy great prestige among international travelers.

TagAirlines, Guatemala's flag carrier, offers 47 daily flights in five countries: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize and Mexico, with a commercial fleet of eight aircraft, allowing multi-destination connectivity in the region.
