It is worth noting that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (CANCILLERIA) has been constantly managing good relations in these new regions with which, not only products are being exported, but also negotiations are being carried out so that companies can expand in El Salvador.

Another important point is that in the last report of the Banco Central de Reserva (BCR), El Salvador in 2023, received US$759.7 million in foreign investment (IED) which means that it quadrupled, compared to those received in 2022 that reached US$170.9 million and the highest recorded during the first five years of Bukele's administration.

In addition, the president of the state bank, Douglas Rodríguez, explained that net IED FDI flows in the last decade have increased by 60%.
