MINEC established partnership with multinational company to adopt technological training

The head of the Ministerio de Economía (MINEC), María Luisa Hayem, held a working meeting with the president of Ericsson for Latin America and the Caribbean, Chafic Nassif, to implement initiatives to 1) create digital talent and develop digital skills in El Salvador, and 2) Promote the adoption of technologies in the salvadoran productive sector.

 

 

Also, the official said that the Central Government promotes innovation and adoption of technology in its projects to create employment opportunities and improve the quality of life for our people.

She also recalled that "Ericsson is committed to join the more than 50 partners working with MINEC to strengthen the innovation ecosystem and create talent in the technology sector with skills required today and in the future".

This company, better known as Ericsson, is a Swedish multinational company dedicated to offering telecommunications equipment and solutions, mainly in the fields of telephony, mobile telephony, multimedia communications and internet.

These agreements were confirmed during the Business Forum held within the framework of the European Union-Latin America and the Caribbean Summit (EU-CELAC).

In this space, minister Hayem has talked with more businessmen from both regions to detail how El Salvador, now, has an ideal business climate for the establishment, operation and expansion of investments. This is thanks to the policies of the Central Government.

During the current administration, the promotion of the use of technologies to maximize its benefits has been a constant within the Central Government. Its main mission is to provide better living conditions to salvadorans.
