Fertilizer prices decrease by 30%

Ricardo Salazar, President of the Defensoría del Consumidor stated that fertilizer prices have decreased up to 30%.

Ricardo Salazar, president of the Defensoría del consumidor, after the deployment of inspections in different commercial points of the country, informed that since last week high prices have been found due to speculation in some fruits and vegetables. Therefore, an investigation process has been activated against suppliers engaged in the import, production and marketing of tomatoes, carrots, beets and cucumbers.
