Hundreds of producers in Usulután, San Miguel, Morazán, and La Unión continue redeeming their 2026 Bono Agrícola. With the opening of the eastern region, all beneficiaries nationwide can now access agricultural inputs.
Government support provides direct assistance to subsistence farming families, enabling them to purchase essential inputs such as fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and foliar sprays, tailored to the needs of their plots and facilitating crop diversification.
Isaac Cruz and Milton Centeno, beneficiary producers, highlighted the speed and efficiency of the process. “This year, the delivery has been particularly fast, which saves time and allows us to apply the inputs as quickly as possible”, they said.
These streamlined processes and the optimized delivery times have been highly valued by local farmers in the eastern region. For beneficiaries, the reduction of bureaucratic procedures and the streamlined processes at agricultural service centers eliminate long waits, allowing them to immediately return to their daily work in the fields and maximize their workdays.
Saraí Mena, manager of the El Maicero in El Tránsito, San Miguel, expressed her honor at being part of this initiative to support the sector, in conjunction with the logistical efforts promoted by the Government, as it brings aid closer to those who need it most, especially those who grow the food they consume.
Farmers in the eastern region also expressed their gratitude for the implementation of this strategy, executed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock through the Centro de Desarrollo de Comercio Agropecuario (CDCA), noting that the bonus represents significant economic relief for rural households.
The 2026 Bono Agrícolacontinues to reach farming families throughout the country, strengthening the production of staple grains and providing support to small-scale farmers.
